Events.com, a growing international platform that works across ticketing, marketing, and events search platforms, has tapped TAG to develop and grow a new live events division for the company. This includes the acquisition of existing festivals and live events properties, as well as the creation of new event properties.

As Events.com prepares for its upcoming IPO (ticker RSVP), its goals for a new live events division is to grow revenues quickly, and build up its client ticketing inventory, while receiving heightened brand awareness in the live events space.

TAG has rolled in the Wonderfront Festival into this new division, and has recently acquired multiple other festival properties to add to the mix. Those properties will be announced in the coming months, along with other acquisitions that are in the works.
