As a further acquisition, TAG has taken over the execution production for the 41 year old Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival. Tag launched the new edition of the festival for 2025 in June with a star studded lineup of country artists including Alabama, Cody Jinks, Russell Dickerson, Midland, Walker Hayes, Big $ Rich with Gretchen Wilson, Jamey Johnson, Mitchell Tenpenny, Wyatt Flores and many more… and new activations including an authentic Dive Bar that was an instant hit, even the band members of Midland showed up at the Dive Bar and actually bartended for an hour to the excitement of the many fans that packed into the bar space. As well a new VIP lounge was created that fans loved, and a second main stage was added to the bill.
The many improvements to the camping, load-in, parking and concessions helped the festival receive rave reviews and lifted the attendance across the 3-day festival. The enhancements and new activations as well as an even bigger lineup is already being planned for the June 2026 version of the festival.
TAG Presents has acquired the historic La Jolla Concours d’Elegance classic car show for Events.com, as part of its new Live Events Division that TAG is operating. Going forward TAG will be the Executive Producer for the event, and already is working on growth plans that involve the addition of an added day of events, including a top level live events performance.
The La Jolla Concours takes place each April in the beautiful oceanside park in the La Jolla Village.
MissionFest is returning to The OutPost at Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park in beautiful San Juan Capistrano, CA.

2021 Festival on San Diego Bay Postponed until 2022
August 25, 2021 – San Diego, CA – After the successful inaugural 2019 Wonderfront Music & Arts Festival, the Wonderfront Festival team began designing an even better 2020 event on the San Diego Bay waterfront. Then, when the Covid pandemic hit in 2020, California’s Public Health Order prohibited large events and gatherings, forcing the cancelation of the 2020 Festival. Immediately the Wonderfront team went to work on developing an amazing and safe experience for the 2021 Festival. The lineup booked is star-studded and sure to be a fast sell-out with many popular artists. Extra safety protocol plans were being put in place, and the announcement was just about to go out to the world when the Delta variant caused a skyrocketing surge of new Covid cases and hospitalizations in California and nationwide.
After weeks of discussions and research with county, state and national health agencies, and the predicted case numbers leading into the fall, the Port of San Diego determined it was best to postpone a mega-event of this size. “The continued safety of the community had to be front and center in our decision making. We pushed as long as we could working with the Wonderfront Festival team to see if case trends might look more positive or new information would give us the comfort level needed to move forward,” said Michael G. Brown, Port of San Diego’s vice president of marketing and communications. “But at the end of the day, the situation has not improved. Knowing that people book advance travel to attend, and production crews have months of logistical planning to do, a final decision needed to be made.”
“This announcement, though challenging, is met with understanding and appreciation for the Port of San Diego for providing us with such a spectacular venue for our festival,” said Paul Thornton, Managing Partner of Wonderlust Events, LLC. “We love our lineup, including major headliners who confirmed this year, and the Wonderfront team has been tirelessly working on the festival’s second year. Once again, we will pivot and work with our artists to push this lineup to our new 2022 dates. We’re hoping to finalize the new dates so we can announce them and put tickets on-sale this Fall. TAG PRESENTS opened a brand new venue on July 10, 2021 called The OutPost at the Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park at San Juan Capistrano, CA. Located on the grounds of this beautiful equestrian riding park at the base of the San Juan Hills, the OutPost is a boutique live events venue that is flexible enough to accommodate shows with capacities of 2,000 – 7,500 attendees. The July 10th show was setup in its mid-size configuration for 4,500 people, and hosted the third annual MissionFest. The MissionFest event was a sellout, and the first time patrons got to experience the OutPost with its incredible VIP experience, games, full bars, local food vendors, mechanical bull riding, exhibitors and much more.
